Projects - Posting time

Hi all,


a quick question related to posting time.

The resources working on a project will submit their time. The time will be approved and then posted to the project variance account.

Each employee has a regular salary-both resources as well as operations colleagues that aren`t assigned to projects thus not submitting time at all. How do i clear the project cost variance account with payroll? The operations people won`t have any time entries, and the resources may not be fully booked on projects in that particular month.
