AE: Creating vendor as a customer becomes a lead
Hi,
I'm trying to create an existing vendor as a customer by clicking on the "+" sign under the relationships subtab. Although I pick a "customer" from the list to create, the new record opens up as a lead, with a lead status and a lead form.
I need to edit the lead, change his status to a "customer-closed won" and the it becomes a customer with a customer form.
I thought it was because a mandatory custom field has been defined for customers, and the script might not able to fill it so it makes it up as a lead, but even when I canceled the mandatory field, is still created as a lead.
