Community Care and Share: Applying Workflows on Records Created From CSV Import
There are scenarios when Workflows fail to execute on records created by CSV Import. To avoid this, Users need to check the Run Server SuiteScript and Trigger Workflows in the Import Options part of the CSV Import.
Another information that users can check is the Trigger used in the Workflow and its Actions. Client Triggers such as Before User Edit and After User Edit cannot be triggered by when using CSV Import as they only work in the User Interface. Changing the Trigger to Server Triggers such as Entry and After Record Submit will execute the Workflow or Action in the record.
