Credit Card Authorization for backorders
Hi,
Is it possible to trigger a card re-authorization/authorization once a backordered item is back in stock?
For example, sales order #123 has 4 line items, 2 of which is back ordered. Upon saving the sales order the credit card processing profile went ahead and got an authorization for the entire sales order amount.
Sales Order got fulfilled for the items with available quantity then the sales order was processed as cash sale based on shipped amount.
Then the backordered item was back in stock could be a day after or weeks after, ideally Netsuite would trigger to get an authorization to check if the card is still valid, etc. The new authorization is not for the entire sales order amount but based on the total value of items that are back in stock.
