Show field from purchase order on sales order saved search

We have a saved search for open sales orders that includes product information that is working well. We would like to include data from a custom field on the items related Purchase Order. The filed is used to state if that purchase order has been picked up or not. We often times have a pending sales order on this item even before it has been picked up.

Is it possible to pull this Picked up status for an item's purchase order, into a saved search based on sales orders?
