NSC | Approval Workflow - Transaction Record stuck in Pending Approval Status

There are scenarios where a Transaction record is stuck on Pending Approval Status even though the Workflow Approval changed the record to Approved.

The reason for this is because of Defect#417298 Transaction Management Problem. 

A workaround for this issue is to perform the following:

• Cancel the current instance of the workflow. Rerun the workflow on the transaction or record.

To do this, kindly follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Transaction record
  2. Click System Information
  3. Click Active Workflows
  4. Click Cancel beside the Approval Workflow

After cancelling the Workflow, rerun the Workflow in the record

• Another workaround is to recreate the transaction or record
