NSC | Display Full Name of Employee in Custom Field
There is a requirement to display the Full Name of an Employee to a Custom Field. To do this, a formula will be used in the Custom Field to combine the First Name Field and Last Name Field of the Employee Record.
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Entity Fields > New
- Label: Enter Label
- Under Applies To, select Employee
- Store Value: Remove Checkmark
- Click Validation & Defaulting
- Default Value: Enter ({firstname})||' '||({lastname})
- Formula: Enter Checkmark
- Click Save
With the configuration above, the Custom Field will display the Full Name of the Employee.
