Saved Search Formula: Dividing Two Columns: Debit Amount/Quantity
Hi all. I am trying to divide the Total Debit Amount by the Total Quantity on Item Receipts over a period of time to compute the Average Cost/Unit. I am using the Total Debit Amount because we have landed freight. I am adding the cost of material plus the freight cost and dividing it by the quantity to get the true landed cost of that item, for the period I am looking at. When you divide the two columns, the average cost/unit it not accurate.
Example: line 1 the result should read $5.7187, but is shows $4.84.
In the summary type fields I have tried minimum, maximum and summary. Changing between each of these continues to produce incorrect results.
