Inventory with Different Income & COGS Accounts
We have items that are the same items, but we want them to go to different COGS/Income accounts. Is there another way to do this rather than to have 3 different item records? We are wanting to find the easiest solution to recording correctly from an accounting standpoint, but not becoming a nightmare to audit/track inventory.
Ex: We have install, parts, and service departments. We have COGS and Income accounts for all 3. We want to be able to track expenses/income, but we do not want to have to have separate inventory for all 3.
