NetSuite Admin Tip: How to Make Sure All Assets have Depreciation Schedule Values
If you have recently created new assets manually or through a CSV import, the depreciation process will fail if there are no depreciation schedule values for those assets.
So here are tips that will help you make sure that there are Depreciation Schedule values for all of these assets.
SET UP THE FAM DIAGNOSTICS PORTLET
1. Navigate to Home > Personalize > SuiteApps > add FAM Diagnostics
2. Once the portlet is added to your dashboard, there will be a link to trigger the Run Precompute Depreciation Values if needed.
3. It will route you to the FAM Process Status page where you can track its progress. Errors will be displayed on this page as well.
