GL Account Currency cannot be changed

Hi All

If GL Account Currency cannot be changed after transactions posted, is it the only workaround is to create a new GL Account, leave Currency blank if required to post in more than one Foreign Currencies?

Then need to post manual JE to credit out the old balance from old GL Account to new Account?

Is it possible to post in JE to Credit old GL Account in INR Amount then post Debit USD amount to new GL Account ?
