Journal Approval Workflows

Hi There

I am trying to create a journal approval workflow that routes the approval based on the journal total. Where I am running into an issue is what field I should be using to work out what the journal amount is?

I receive the following error message on each field that I try to use:

I have tried 'transaction'; transaction amount; and amount. They all result in the 'field not found error'.

Is it because of the trigger that is currently being executed? (i.e. before load according to the system notes?)

On the action itself. the "trigger on" has been set to "before record submit"
