Restricting File Cabinet Folders by Static Group
Hello NS Community,
I am currently testing using Static Groups to restrict access to specific File Cabinet folders. However, I can still access it even if I am not included in the group. I am also using a non-Administator role, and have assigned the group ownership to a different Employee.
Here are the steps I took:
- Create a new Static Group for Employees
- Add employees to the group, except myself, and re-assign the group ownership to a different employee.
- Set the group to Private, and RESTRICT GROUP EDITING TO OWNER = T
- Create the File Cabinet folder then assign the created group in the Restrict by Group field.
