Workflow Sublist Action Group Before / After Submit

I have a Workflow Sublist Action Group that checks all lines on a Sales Order and updates fields where necessary. These checks need to be done when the Order is saved. Obviously, on longer orders, this has a noticeable impact on the time taken to save the Sales Order.

Currently testing this in Sandbox (which is slow anyway), if I Disable the Sublist Action Group the time to save a large (60 line) sales order drops from 48 seconds to 21 seconds (this is time from pressing save in the browser, to the updated transaction re-drawing on screen with the green confirmation message 'Transaction Successfully Saved' at the top).
