The G/L impact of a transaction in a closed period cannot be changed.
Trying to change the revenue account of an item to another desired account. Do not want to change prior periods, just want to effect periods going forward with the new account. However, when I try to change the revenue account to another account I get the error: The G/L impact of a transaction in a closed period cannot be changed. I am OK with this, just want to make change so prospective transactions will have the correct account number.
