Why do Workflows and Scripts not execute for Deposit Applications made via Customer Payments page?
Scenario - Customer has outstanding Bill(s) and a Deposit recorded against their account.
User clicks 'Accept Payment' - is taken to the 'Payment screen, and selects the Bill(s) and the Deposit to allocate them.
Transaction saves, but NetSuite creates a 'Deposit Application' transaction not a Payment transaction.
My issue is that I have a Workflow attached to the Payment transaction that will open the Customer record after a Payment is saved. This doesn't work if a Deposit Application is created.
I have added the Deposit Application transaction type to the workflow, and it is set to all Triggers, Events and Contexts (both at Workflow and Action levels).
