How to re-run depreciation based on asset usage/activity?

edited Dec 22, 2022 10:30PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hello,

I have one fixed asset which is not depreciated every month because it is depreciated only if it is used (based on units of activity/usage), this month we forget to input the units of activity in the assets usage tab, and we run the depreciation for this asset type, the system generated a zero value depreciation journal entry. When we discovered that, we entered the units of activity/usage in the asset usage tab, and we run the depreciation again for the same month and the same asset type, but nothing happened.

Your kind help to overcome this situation is highly appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
