Change to Role Permission Conflict Resolution for Some SDF Custom Objects in SuiteApps

This notice is to inform you of an upcoming change to the way SuiteApp custom objects’ role permissions are resolved. This change will impact your NetSuite account and will occur because either:

  • You are a partner who creates SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) SuiteApps that are deployed or installed to target accounts, or
  • One or more SDF account customization projects (ACP) have been deployed to your NetSuite account.

What is Changing?

Currently, standard role permissions and custom role permissions in a target account are removed when updated customrecordtype and/or customtransactiontype SDF custom objects with role permissions are deployed to that target account.
