This is a reminder to Phase 2 Release 2022.2 customers who use the NSPB Sync SuiteApp. This message includes the following information about version 2022.2 of the SuiteApp:
- The target date for the SuiteApp to be pushed to your production account
- A summary of the new features and enhancements that are included in the updated SuiteApp
Target Upgrade Date
The new features and enhancements to the SuiteApp will be pushed automatically to your production account on November 14, 2022.
What is Changing?
With this release of the SuiteApp, you can take advantage of the following new features and enhancements:
- Use the NetSuite UI to schedule and execute data map jobs configured in Planning and Budgeting.
- Enter dates in Data Management for source filters.
- Use datasets to load metadata with hierarchies from NetSuite to Planning and Budgeting.
- Exclude the alternate parent column from the output when generating alternate hierarchy.
- Determine the default value of the Data Storage parent column in the exported metadata saved searches.
- Use custom field mapping to map account types and item types from your NetSuite account to your Planning and Budgeting.
NOTE: This feature substitutes for the account type and item type prefixes that you could use in previous releases to customize the hierarchy of metadata saved searches. The Account Type Prefix and Item Type Prefix fields have been removed from Saved Search Settings. These actions are no longer supported.

Recommended Action
We strongly encourage you to manually update the SuiteApp in your Sandbox or Release Preview account. You will be able to preview the new features and enhancements before your production account is updated. In the NetSuite Help Center, the help topics for the SuiteApp have been moved from Accounting > General Accounting > Budgets to the new folder NetSuite Planning and Budgeting.
