How can we get rid of a locked saved search?

We have several saved searches that were added to our system via a bundle by a consultant we are no longer partnered with. We would like to remove/revise some of these, but the only option is to 'save as' which leaves the original available for people to review searches which in some cases include incorrect information.

Is there anyway around this?
