Why am I receiving " You cannot start production..." message when making copy of Work Order?

This started ocurring recently, not sure when but probably after the last update.

Whenever a user tries to make a copy of a Work Order we click on "Make a Copy" action , the new Work Order is shown but when we try to save it , it shows the following message:

" You cannot start production if it is not associated with a transaction. Create a transaction or set Actual Production End Date to automatic."

After clicking "Accept" on the pop-up, it stays the same and does not save the new transaction.

Any ideas as to why? No custom workflows or scripts running on this particular transaction.
