How to expose a custom field/netsuite field to the website in SCS

Hello,

On our sales orders, we have a field called shipdate which I want to show a customer on their my account order page when they log in.

I have a template file on an extension that was created so I can edit it.

The shipdate field is not exposed to the website as far as I can tell, so is there a way to do that?
