How is Month End Closing Exchange Rates used?

Hi Experts,


I would like to get your confirmation on the following:

Period setup:

Start date :29th Sept

End Date 28th Oct

During closing, what will be the rate that NetSuite will use if I run the closing on Oct 29? Is it Oct 28? or Oct 31?

Currently the system exchange rate is feed by Xignite. If I will manually edit the exchange rate for Oct 29-31, assuming the date today is October 28, will Xignite still provide exchange rate for those dates?
