How to associate Files in the File Cabinet to NetSuite Records and include them on Search Results?

Hi all

Random Friday afternoon question.

We get pricelists from our Vendors.

Is there a way from me to upload one of these files into the filing cabinet and then reference it from a custom item field or a saved search with a formula?

Something similar to excels VLOOKUP function.

Or perhaps I could create a custom item field of type 'Document' and then create another field referencing the document data in that field?

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated?
