Good Afternoon Everyone!
I have a scenario where we are paying sales reps a volume based commission, but our Director of Sales just figured out it is summing the total amount of commissionable items for the sale, without taking team member contribution % into consideration.
I have tried to reliably bring this in on the commissionable item search used using the Original Sales Order, Applied to Sales Order, and Sales Order -- Original joins, but it won't pull the correct contribution rate.
I was able to do this in a regular transaction saved search, but the connection seems to get lost at the item level.
I'm looking for some guidance. I was thinking of adding a Sales Rep 1 and Sales Rep 2 on the item level, and having that be the commissionable amount * contribution %. Does anyone have any experience with this?
