How to resolve "no such file or directory, stat 'DeployDistribution" error when using Gulp Deploy?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:31PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

We can successfully 'fetch' a theme using GULP, and edit / view the theme locally using the 'LOCAL' command.

When we try to deploy the theme we keep getting this error:

Error Message

ENOENT: no such file or directory, stat 'DeployDistribution/*'

Error Details

  errno: -4058

  syscall: stat

  code: ENOENT

  path: DeployDistribution/*

It appears that the 'DeployDistribution' folder is not being created by the deploy process. We have tried manually creating the empty folder first, but that didn't work either.

Is there a simple / common fix to this?

Howdy, Stranger!
