Croatian Kuna to Euro Currency Change
This notice is intended for customers using the Croatia/Hrvatska (Croatian) locale in NetSuite currency records.
What is Changing?
As of January 1, 2023, the Croatian National Bank is adopting the Euro as its official currency. The Euro (EUR) will replace the Croatian Kuna (HRK) as Croatia’s official currency.
There will be a two-week parallel circulation period in which both the Croatian Kuna (HRK) and the Euro (EUR) will be valid currencies for the Croatia/Hrvatska (Croatian) locale. From January 1, 2023, through January 14, 2023, the exchange rate is the following:
EUR 1 = HRK 7.53450
If you have configured your account to receive exchange rates from Xignite, you will stop receiving Croatian Kuna (HRK) exchange rates on January 15, 2023. If you have configured your account to receive exchange rates from HSBC, you will stop receiving Croatian Kuna (HRK) exchange rates on January 1, 2023.
