Why can I not add a Subsidiary in an Intercompany Journal Entry using a Custom Role?

Hi,

I created a role and selected specific subsidiaries. When I create an intercompany journal using the standard journal, the subsidiaries I can see in the "To Subsidiary" field are just the subsidiaries selected in the role. Is there a way I can select other subsidiaries without giving the permission to other subsidiaries as I don't want that role to post and generate report to subsidiaries aside from what was selected in the role.
