How do I retain a % field formatting when I "Set Field Value" for a Long Text Field using Workflow?

I have 2 custom Percent fields

I use a workflow to "Set Field Value" for a custom Long Text field.


But the field values do not retain the original field format (%).

I need the values placed in the Long Text field to be formatted as 100% & 1% but they are simple numbers.

Does anyone know what I can add to my formula to format these numbers as %'s?
