How to Add Charge with department in Match Bank Data without getting an error?

When adding a new charge on the bank match data screen, I select the appropriate Department yet I keep getting an error to select the department. I have verified the setup for both department and the account are set identical.

Any recommendations to get this resolved? We would like to utilize the new bank match but we are running into issues, that should be easy solves.
