Upcoming Changes to the Invoice Groups Feature in 2023.1 Release
This notice applies to customers who use the invoice groups feature.
In NetSuite 2022.2, you can create an invoice group with multiple invoices that use different A/R accounts. When you accept payments for the invoice group, NetSuite automatically selects the first account from the A/R Account list on the Payment page. As a result, the payment record might use an A/R account that is different from the preferred receivables account for the customer.
What is Changing?
Starting in 2023.1, NetSuite will allow invoice grouping only for invoices that use the same A/R account. Invoices using different A/R accounts can no longer be in the same invoice group.
