How to recreate the AR Aging report using Transaction Date not Due date?

Hi All! I need to recreate the AR Aging report using Transaction Date. I've created the saved search, but the date filtering doesn't work. For example, "as of today" gives me the correct AR ending balance, but if I wanted to see yesterday, last month, or any date prior to today, the AR ending balance is not correct. Cloud any one help me to over come this issue.
