Why does Inline edit context type misses some fields' values...
/**
* @NApiVersion 2.1
* @NScriptType UserEventScript
*/
define(["N/record", "N/runtime", "N/format"], function (
record,
runtime,
format
) {
function afterSubmit(context) {
const newTask = context.newRecord;
const taskStatus = newTask.getValue({
fieldId: "status",
});
const taskSalesOrder = newTask.getValue({
fieldId: "transaction",
});
...
We have the user event script on the Task record.
When normally, individually edit the task, the task's transaction is gotten correctly.
But when I rewrite the task record with inline edit on the task view and the task saved search, taskSalesOrder is blank even though the task has the transaction field.
What is this odd gap? Does the inline edit mode have a bug or something?
