What are the SFTP server type that NetSuite connects to?

One of our client uses "Proftpd" server for SFTP server. We have a script that Connects to the SFTP server successfully. But when We are trying to get list of files/folders in the directoty, we are getting UNEXPECTED_ERROR.

We also tried to upload or download files in the SFTP server, but getting same error.

Do you recommend some SFTP server types that usually customer uses and that works perfectly?

Are there specific SFTP servers ( vendors) that are known to work with N/sftp module for NetSuite referenced here?
