Is it necessary to map Ship Via when transforming Estimates to Sales Orders via Workflow?

We are working on a workflow to transform estimates into sales orders when the status is changed to closed won. Our sales orders have shipping method marked as a required field, so that information has to be transferred from the estimate during the transform action on the workflow.

The Ship Via field has to be mapped in order to make this happen. What is unknown is what field to map that to in order to pull the shipment method from the estimate. What field can be mapped from the estimate to this Ship Via field on the transform action to make this happen?
