How to remove Checkbox from invoice that are copied over the credit memo

Dear community,

When creating a credit memo, the checkbox fields are copied over from the invoice.

I tried to apply a workflow on a specific field (set field value before record load => static value => unchecked) but it does not work.

Can you please help create a workflow that will remove the checkbox or provide any other solutions?
