Saved Search > Display if the Parent Customers have any Transactions
We need to determine if our Parent Customers have any Transactions. I am attempting to customize a sublist following the steps in SuiteAnswer 12764 below
SuiteAnswer: 12764
Scenario
By default the parent Customer record displays all transactions for both parent and child customers via Customer record > Sales tab > Transactions subtab.
Solution
To view only transactions entered for the parent Customer, you need to customize the View.
- Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers
- Click View next to the parent Customer record
- Click Sales tab
- Click Transactions subtab
- Click Customize View
- Click Criteria tab
- Click Standard subtab
- Filter:
- Select Formula (Numeric)
- Formula: Enter case when {mainname} = {customer.parent} then 1 else 0 end
- Select Formula (Numeric)
