Saved Search > Display if the Parent Customers have any Transactions

edited Jul 11, 2023 5:27PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments
We need to determine if our Parent Customers have any Transactions. I am attempting to customize a sublist following the steps in SuiteAnswer 12764 below
SuiteAnswer: 12764

Scenario

By default the parent Customer record displays all transactions for both parent and child customers via Customer record > Sales tab > Transactions subtab.

Solution

To view only transactions entered for the parent Customer, you need to customize the View.

  1. Navigate to Lists Relationships Customers
  2. Click View next to the parent Customer record
  3. Click Sales tab
  4. Click Transactions subtab
  5. Click Customize View
  6. Click Criteria tab
  7. Click Standard subtab
  8. Filter:
    • Select Formula (Numeric)
      1. Formula: Enter case when {‌mainname} = {‌customer.parent} then 1 else 0 end

Howdy, Stranger!
