SuiteScript 2.0: How to Resolve Error: "You cannot create an inventory detail for this item"?

I am transforming an invoice from the customer using suitescript2.0. The script is throwing an error that "You cannot create an inventory detail for this item". The script is having code for adding inventory detail but not sure why this error is coming.
