NSC | Not Displaying the Duplication Detection Banner
in CRM
The customer is already done setting up the fields to detect at Setup > Company > Duplicate Detection. However, the warning banner for Duplicate Record is not showing up.
Explanation:
It appears that NetSuite is unable to recognize the fields defined in the Duplicate Detection record. Resolving the warning message can be achieved by re-entering the fields in.
- Navigate to Setup > Company > Duplicate Detection
- Uncheck Detect Customer Duplicates checkbox
- Remove all fields in Customer Fields To Match On
- Click Save
- Enable the Detect Customer Duplicates checkbox
- Add all the necessary fields in Customer Fields To Match On
- Click Save
Note: Same steps may apply according to record type. (Vendor/Partner/Contact)
