NSC | Create a Custom Field That Only Displays The Child Record of an Account
There are scenarios where users need to filter the Account(Line) field selected. The expected output is to only display the Child Account of the Account's value. In this sample scenario, a user needs to display the child record of the Account that is currently selected in the Account field. To do this, we need to apply a filter in the Custom Field. Kindly follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Line Fields > New
- Enter the required fields
- Type: Select List/Record
- List/Record: Select Account
- Under Applies To, select the preferred records
- Click Sourcing & Filtering
