Create a Custom Body Field to be added to the Bill of Materials record. Bulk Items (nuts, bolts, screws, etc) will be added to the Bill of Materials, and a quick text field of how it is used on this build. For example, the bill for one item includes 2 screws.
• for 1013009 "attaches top panel to end cap"
• for 1013015 "attached foot to slider bracket"
1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Other Sublist Fields > New
2. Set the following details:
- Sublist Record Type: Bill of Materials Revision Component
- Store Value : Yes
- Label: BOM revision sample (or any label of your choice)
- Type: Free-form Text
