NSC | How To Detect Duplicate Values in Fields Using Saved Search
There is a requirement to create a Saved Search that will detect if a Custom Field's value has a duplicate on other record. To do this, kindly follow the steps below:
- In the preferred Saved Search, click Criteria
- Click Summary
- Summary Type: Select Count
- Field: Select Internal ID
- Description: is Greater than 1
- Click Results
- Click Columns
- Field: Select the field that needs a duplicate detection
- Summary Type: Select Group
- Field: Select Internal ID
- Summary Type: Select Count
- Sort By: Select the field in step A
- Click Save
