NSC | How To Detect Duplicate Values in Fields Using Saved Search

There is a requirement to create a Saved Search that will detect if a Custom Field's value has a duplicate on other record. To do this, kindly follow the steps below:

  1. In the preferred Saved Search, click Criteria
  2. Click Summary
    1. Summary Type: Select Count
    2. Field: Select Internal ID
    3. Description: is Greater than 1
  3. Click Results
  4. Click Columns
    1. Field: Select the field that needs a duplicate detection
    2. Summary Type: Select Group
    3. Field: Select Internal ID
    4. Summary Type: Select Count
    5. Sort By: Select the field in step A
  5. Click Save
