NSC | Custom Contact Field in Customer Record Filtered by the Current Customer
There is a requirement to create a Custom Field in the Custom Record that contains the Contacts from the Customer Sublist. To do this, we need to utilize the Sourcing & Filtering feature of the Custom Field. Kindly follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Entity Fields > New
- Enter Name of the Custom Field
- List/Record: Select Contact
- Filter: Select Company
- Compare Type: Select Equal
- Value: Select Current Record
- Click Add
- Click Save
By doing the steps above, the Custom Field will be filtered to only display the Contacts from the Customer record.
