NSC | Filter Custom Field by Customer


There is a requirement to create a Custom Field that will only display the Sales Orders owned by the Customer in the Sales Order record. To do this, we need to apply a filter in the created Custom Field in the Sales Order record. To do this, kindly follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New
  2. Label: Enter Name of the Custom Field
  3. Type: Select List/Record
  4. List/Record: Select Transaction
  5. Click Sourcing & Filtering
  6. Filter Using: Select Type
  7. Value Is: Select Sales Order
  8. Filter Using: Select Customer
  9. Compare to Field: Select Customer
  10. Click Save
