Saved Search of Order Items

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to recreate the Order Items page because we need to change some formula.

I'm using an Item Search that will show us the details but I need other columns to be group and other to be summed based on internal ID of Item. Here's the search:

-The Demand Column should be totaled based on the internal ID

-Order quantity should be (total of demand + preferred) - (on hand + on order)

-Other columns should be grouped

Hi @DanishBernadeth,

I tried to perform some tests on this. As I understand your concern, you'd like to show the total quantity per item per location. For example, in my case, the sum of the transaction quantity for Item ALA - Mug, Location California should be 21.

However, when I add Summary Type: Sum for Formula (Numeric) = {transaction.quantity}, the Summary shows a different result.

Upon checking, I found this enhancement request logged under Enhancement # 414390 Transaction Saved Search > Summary Type: Sum > Amounts are not the same with the drill down.

I am trying to figure out if it can be achieved through some SQL function like Case When, but for now, you may vote for this enhancement in the SuiteIdeas page.

Or should you have figured this out already, it would be great if you can update this thread with your findings.
