How to create a "package" item of both Assets and Stock items which will contain Asset details?
Hi All -
We purchase equipment and record as Fixed Assets. We also hold inventory of low value items and record as Stock.
We would like to create a "package" item of both Assets and Stock items which we would then hire out (package to be returned to us) via a Sales order.
Issue we have is how best to create the package item using Items. We don't really want to create a Non Inventory Item for Sale for each individual asset, but need to know which asset is in which package.
Other thoughts include trying to create new inventory items at zero value to mimic the fixed assets.
