Counterpart-Contribution (NFP)

A nonprofit client is asking about how to properly document a "counterpart-contribution" in NetSuite. Here's how it may go:

  1. Constituent provides funding to the org (i.e. donation or grant)
  2. Org then matches a portion (or whole) of the funding either monetarily or in-kind (e.g. venue, services, etc.)

What's the best practice for this scenario and which transaction type should be used?
