Standard Cost as at transaction Date

Hi There

I have an item that has changes in standard cost over time.

I was wanting to set a custom transaction line field with the actual standard cost value that was effective as at the transaction date,

i want to do this for both existing transactions and for any new transactions that are created.

Is it is possible to source this information to populate the custom line level field?
