Work Order & Inventory Status | How to prevent a damaged Assembly Component to be released

edited Jul 19, 2023 10:55AM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Hi,

When I have a damaged Item, I would like to use Inventory Status to prevent Assembly component to be available for Issue.

In another word, Users should not be able to build an assembly item with parts that are using that status.

I made some tests in my Demo Company.

The inventory status “SSWMS Damaged” looks like this and "Make Inventory available" is unchecked.

1 - I assigned my component COM00035 (with serial number 35) the inventory status "SSWMS Damaged"

2 - During my work Order Issue, when I tried to issue that part, it remains visible when I click on Inventory Detail, even if the status is “SSWMS Damaged”

Howdy, Stranger!
