SuitePeople U.S. Payroll: Filing Status for Utah Withholding Tax Schedule Change

This notice applies to customers who are using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll and you withhold Utah tax. To align with the Federal Form W-4, NetSuite is introducing new values on the Filing Status fields.

What is Changing?

On July 26, 2023, it was communicated that Oracle NetSuite will have new Filing Status field values for Utah withholding tax available on August 4, 2023. The schedule has been changed to August 11, 2023. From August 11, 2023, new Filing Status field values for Utah withholding tax will be available.

Required Actions

You must update payroll information and the filing status on affected employee records or payroll items. Commit all updates or changes starting
